Phil and his team are highly sought after for a reason - they are thorough, they are incredibly generous with their time & their reports are worth their weight in gold. The new General Condition 21 in the Contract of Sale of Land in Victoria only allows you to exit the Contract for a major current structural defect if the report was prepared in compliance with AS 4349.1-2007, which is always the case with a report from BuyWise. Don’t look anywhere else - these inspectors are stand outs in their field, and if I ever purchase again, I know who I will trust to ensure I’m buying something with good bones.

I would definitely recommend Buy Wise if you're planning on doing a building and pest inspection when buying a house. Their report was thorough and detailed but easy to understand, and they really checked everything out as much as possible - despite there being no access to the building stumps/subfloor, they were still able to provide images of the underfloor area and give a helpful assessment of the condition. No stone was left unturned, and the report gave clear recommendations as to how to proceed, pointing out potential issues/major defects, but also providing guidance on future maintenance and preventative measures that could be taken if we proceeded to purchase.We were very pleased with the level of care and service provided.

We were extremely impressed with the quality and thoroughness of our building and pest inspection with Buy Wise. I would definitely recommend Buy Wise if you're planning on doing a building and pest inspection when buying a house. Their report was thorough and detailed but easy to understand, and they really checked everything out as much as possible - despite there being no access to the building stumps/subfloor, they were still able to provide images of the underfloor area and give a helpful assessment of the condition. No stone was left unturned, and the report gave clear recommendations as to how to proceed, pointing out potential issues/major defects, but also providing guidance on future maintenance and preventative measures that could be taken if we proceeded to purchase.We were very pleased with the level of care and service provided.
